Yesterday was quite the day for the Social Networking stock market game Empire Avenue. Michael Long from Rackspace joined Empire Avenue a few days ago and was responsible for a good part (if not all) of the influx of new Empire Avenue members such as Robert Scoble (Scobleizer, 171,384 followers on Twitter, etc. ), Werner Vogels (19,016 followers on Twitter, CTO and VP of Amazon.com, etc.) and the CEOs of Sanera, PDC and JobCannon among many other people who might be if not household names at least familiar ones in some circles. I just found the article which drew in Michael and Kelly Long. I turns out that Charlie Sheen may have had something to do with Empire Avenue’s recent chain reaction explosion after all. My Empire Avenue friend SIA, who I mentioned earlier had applied to be a tigerbloodintern introduced the author of the article to the game.
